Wow! Summer went by fast. I'm super excited to be back at school, but I miss lazy days already. Instead of catching up on my favorite blogs, I find myself reading Descartes or Arendt #philoproblems. While my workload has significantly increased this past week, I will still try to post as often as I can! Cross your fingers this actually ends up happening - I have been known to ditch the blog for a while. Sorry!
That aside, I've found some AMAZING new products this month, that I needed to share. Usually, I feel like I reuse favorites from month to month - I'm trying to cut down on my beauty spending this year! However, this month I made some cheeky purchases, and have not been disappointed by any of them! Up first is the Ecotools Bronzer Brush. I've seen Tiffany over at Willworkformakeup talk about this for ages, and I have yet to regret a purchase enabled by her! This is no exception. My only regret is not getting it sooner - seriously. I'm a huge bronzer fan in the summer months, and this buffs my powders in flawlessly. No streaks or orange face with this brush! Plus, I'm constantly amazed at how soft this brush is, especially for a brush I picked up at the drugstore. I will definitely be checking out more Ecotools in the future!
Another newbie to the favorites posts is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner in Black. I bought this a while ago, but never had the courage to open the jar and use it after getting out of the gel liner habit. Now I know what I like it so much! Cat eyes, here I come! I love using this day-to-day to get the coveted Lauren Conrad eye look going on. It's so creamy and doesn't smudge all day. Seriously, this stuff outlasts even liquid liners on my eyes! I definitely want to pick out some other colors in this formula.
I think the rest of these products have been featured on my blog at one time or another, so I'll try to wrap this up quickly. I've been obsessed with my Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray to cool down and refresh my skin after a long, hot (read: no AC) day. Another pick-me-up is the LAQA&Co Lil Lipstick. I love sticking this in my bag and using it to give my face a little punch of color on blah-days. It's a bright pink, but it can be layered on sheerly so it's not too intense for American Law. Another lip product favorite this month has got to be my Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm. Although it's been a little melted in my hot dorm room, it's still my favorite lip balm to date! The Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation has been my saving grace after sleepless nights
at the bar studying. The light-reflecting pigments are a huge help to perk up my skin!
